Exciting Renovations Coming Soon to Auburn Animal Center!
February 18, 2026

At Auburn Animal Center, we’re committed to providing the best care environment for your pets, and that means continuously improving our facilities and services. Starting March 2, 2026, we’ll begin a much-anticipated renovation project designed to enhance your experience and create a more modern, efficient, and welcoming space.

What’s Changing?

Our renovation will include a total refresh of the hospital, adding a new exam room to help serve you better, improving workflow for our team, and updating the reception area to make your visits more comfortable and streamlined. This upgrade is all about making Auburn Animal Center an even better place for your pets’ healthcare.

Renovation Timeline

Renovations will begin on March 2nd, and we anticipate finishing up by the beginning of Summer! During this period, you’ll notice changes as we work hard to bring these improvements to life.

Important Closing Dates

Our regularly scheduled quarterly staff meeting will be held with an early closing on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Although already planned, we specifically scheduled the meeting on this day to coincide with our planned demolition closure on Friday, March 6, 2026, in order to minimize disruption to patient care during the renovations. We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, March 9, 2026.

What You Need to Know

Service Impacts:

During the renovation, there will be times when certain services, such as surgeries and X-rays, might be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your understanding as we make these important upgrades.

Appointments:

Beginning February 27, 2026, we will switch to a fully curbside model to ensure a calm, safe, and stress-free visit for pets and clients. Unfortunately, clients will not be able to enter the building throughout the renovation.

Operational Updates:

We kindly ask that you plan ahead for prescription medication refills — please try to give us at least a week’s notice.

How We’re Supporting You

We’re here to help you navigate this temporary change with as little disruption as possible. Our team is focused on maintaining clear communication and providing the best care under these evolving circumstances.

Stay tuned to our website and Facebook for continued updates. If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time via email at auburnac@yourvetdoc.com or by phone at (207) 784-2000.
